SAPTARI: Two children from Saptari drowned in a pit while they were playing in ward no. 11 of Triyuga Municipality of Udayapur on Wednesday evening. The deceased have been identified as five-year-old Niraj Shah, son of Ram Sewak Shah and five-year-old Saurat BK, son of Subhan BK of Pipara-3 in Saptari, according to police. They were found drowned by the locals. The two minors died on the way to a hospital, according to SP Narayan Prasad Chimariya of the District Police Office.
