My nightmare

My nightmare

By My nightmare

It was a cold and silent night and it was dark and there was no electricity. The only sound I heard was the trickling of water and the dogs barking in a distance. As for myself I didn’t

know where I was and how I reached that place. There was something creepy about the place: I just wanted to get out of there!

I tried to find my way out so I started walking, after walking a few steps my I struck something hard and I fell down. My leg started aching but I got up and walked again. I saw a house, I entered through the door reluctantly. As soon as I entered the door shut behind me and my steps led me to a passage. I kept on walking.

Suddenly, there was light everywhere, I saw that I was in a big room of a circular shape having about twenty doors. I did not know where to go. I opened the door that was nearest me and I went inside. Just like the main door had shut behind me, so, too, that door closed suddenly. I kept walking.

The lights went out, I was sweating with fear but there was a silver ray of light I could trace. So I went near and saw a girl dressed in silver clothes sitting on the floor. She was crying. I was so scared that I did not go near her to give her my sympathy. Instead, I turned away and tried to run but my legs seemed to have jammed and then someone caught my hand. When I turned, I found it was the girl, her pretty blue eyes full of tears and her hand so cold that it froze mine.

The moment I tried to talk to her she vanished and I broke out into a cold sweat. I ran as fast as I could in the opposite direction. I was so tired that I fell down, my vision became blurred gradually and I became unconscious. When I regained consciousness I was on a bed and I moved my hands and found the light switch. It was 3 am and I was in my own bed in my own house. The experience had been a dream.
