KATHMANDU: Three major political parties have expedited talks with an aim to find consensus on the seven-Pradesh model for the federal set-up. After the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic announced that it quit the four-party alliance, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN-Maoist are holding discussions. The sources said that they are likely to sign a deal on the seven-Pradesh model that NC and UML had jointly proposed in November 2014. The parties were undecided on the model of federalism on Thursday as Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala remained absent in the top leaders' meeting. Koirala, however, is present in the meeting today.
