PHIDIM: The two-day bandh imposed by the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has affected normal life in Panchthar and other districts of the Easter Region on Sunday. The general strike was called to ensure identity-based federalism, secularism and fully proportional election system in the new constitution. Industries, educational institutions and market places have remained closed and vehicular movement has also come to a grinding halt. No untoward incidents have been reported so far.
