KATHMANDU: Samsung Electronics launched Galaxy Tab E, a mid-segment tablet - Galaxy Tab E in Nepal on August 25. This impressively powerful android tablet with a sleek and ergonomically design is 8.5 mm slim and weighs 495 grams. “Samsung is committed to address diverse consumer demands and personal preferences. It has 9.6-inch display and is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor. The tab runs on OS Android 4.4.  It is equipped with a 5MP AF primary camera and 2MP secondary camera. It has 1.5GB RAM plus 8GB ROM which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It is equipped with a powerful battery of 5,000 mAh. It supports both 2G and 3G network. Galaxy Tab E supports voice-calling capability and has been uniquely positioned, offering superior entertainment experience to consumers. The company claims that the launch of these new devices will further strengthen Samsung’s product portfolio in the mid-range segment and expand its leadership position within the tablet market. The tablet’s advanced performance includes the ability to multi-task with ease and allows usage of Multi-Window to access two apps at the same time. It also features ‘kids mode’, which enables children to use the tablet to explore, create and have fun. Its enhanced Camera helps in easy access to camera modes to instant access to Continuous Shot. Besides these, the new UX in Tab E has been upgraded for better usability, making it easier to view and select favourite apps at a glance. Available in metallic black and pearl white Galaxy Tab E is priced at Rs 27,900.
