KALAIYA: Some protesters have been injured after police fired rubber bullets in course of a clash between the United Madhesi Front (UMF) and police at Bharat Chowk in kalaiya on Tuesday The indefinite Madhes bandh has entered its 17th day today. Police opened fire in retaliation after protesters hurled stones at the security personnel this afternoon. Injured cadres are receiving treatment at a local hospital in the district.
