She may be young but she has walked the ramp of many prestigious fashion shows. TGIF talks to Krisha Shahi about her early start in the glam world! You were 14 when you first faced the camera. What was the experience like? I was excited as I got the opportunity to learn and prove myself at a very early age. Bagging the title of first runner up in Little Miss Nepal 2010 gave me the confidence to become a successful model. What were your insecurities then and now? Back then, I never had insecurities and I am still the same. However, now there is a lot of competition, I need to work a lot harder. After being one of the models at TGIF Nepal Fashion Week, I started getting offers for photo shoots. I feel that I had a good start in my life. Tell us about your experience at TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2014. It was an amazing experience as it was my first time on the ramp. As the youngest model, I was a bit nervous but people around me were very friendly. It was a memorable experience. Any projects you are looking forward to? Currently I do not have any projects lined up but I would love to be a part of TGIF Fashion Week again (winks). What is your ultimate turn on? It is not easy to turn me on (winks). However, the moment I see brownies and cakes, I go weak at the knees. What is the most romantic thing someone has done for you? Umm… I am still waiting for that moment. What is it that you look for in a person? He should be smart and understanding with a positive attitude towards life. Also, he should love and respect his girl. What is the one thing that you like and dislike about yourself? I will not say what I like but what I dislike most about myself is that I am short tempered and too emotional at times. Getting to know Krisha better When men hit on you, you will… I take it on my stride if they don’t have ill intent. If you could wake up as someone else, it would be… Ian Somerhalder Part of your body you like the most… My high waist. Fashion icon in Nepal… I am yet to come across anyone in Nepal with a good fashion sense. One thing people do not know about you… Many might not know that I am a drummer and a tabala player.
