DAMAULI: A teenage student, who had gone missing since Saturday, was found hanging from a tree in Bigyan Chaur of Tanahun on Monday. Police suspected it was a case of suicide. The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Purna Bahadur Ale, a tenth grader at local Maharshi Vedavyasa Sanskrit Secondary School. Ale had left home for tuition on Saturday. His kin were searching for the boy. Locals informed police after they saw the boy's body dangling from a tree this morning. The boy apparently used a rubber cord to hang himself to death, according to Police Inspector Prem Shankhar Chaudhary. Ale's body would be taken to the District Hospital in Damauli for autopsy.
