Public offence case against 5 UDMF leaders

RAUTAHAT: A public offence case has been filed case against the five leaders of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), arrested on September 14. Police had nabbed Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal central committee members Ram Kishor Yadav and Rameshwor Yadav, Sadbhawana Party leader Sheikh Jamsed, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic district chairman Ajay Gupta and Tarai Madhes Democratic Party leader Anil Singh from the house of Rajendra Patel, former District Development Committee Chair in Gaur-5. The District Administration Office, Rautahat has remanded the leaders to custody for a week. DSP Sudhir Raj Shahi stated that they were charged for disturbing peace and security. He added that they will be remanded further after proper investigation is conducted.
