GAIGHAT: Police on Wednesday detained the manager of a financial institution who had been on the run over a case of embezzlement. According to DSP Surendra Gurung, Mohan Bhandari, manager of the Udayapur’s Katari-based Tribeni Cooperatives was detained. Bhandari, who is said to have misappropriated around 4 million rupees from the cooperatives had been on the run for the past one month. He was detained from Kathmandu with the help of Central Investigation Bureau.
