T G Shrestha accumulated 41 points and won the seventh Gokarna Open golf tournament organised by Le Meridien Gokarna Forest Golf Resort and Spa. Lobsang Tenzing and Mikhail Lari came second and third respectively. Crown Prince Paras, who along with Japanese Ambassador to Nepal T Hiraoka and South Korean envoy SH Park played over the 18 holes, gave away prizes. Other winners were: Mrs Park (ladies); Yeshe Tsering (senior); CB Bhandari (best gross); DB Basnet (longest drive); and Bhai Raj Pandey (closest to the pin).
