Protester shot at, injured, few minutes after promulgation of new Constitution

RAUTAHAT: Protesters demonstrating against the government and promulgation of Nepal's new constitution clashed with Armed Police Force at Bhediyai in Rautahat district on Sunday few minutes after the President announced commencement of the charter. Police shot the mob-turned-demonstrators injuring a protester who got shot on his leg.  The injured has been identified as Shrawan Yadav aged early 30s. An ambulance from a hospital in district headquarters Gaur, 14 km away, has been called for transferring the injured protesters for treatment.
