Big parties hold joint ceremony to welcome Nepal's Constitution at Tundikhel

KATHMANDU: Three major parties - Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN-Maoist - are holding a joint welcome ceremony to mark promulgation of the Constitution st Tundikhel. Chairs of the parties, Prime Minister and NC President Sushil Koirala, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, are scheduled to address the ceremony. Party cadres and members of the general public have thronged Tundikhel with the national flag and respective party flags. Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force are also taking part in the ceremony with their cultural processions and bands.
