ACHHAM: A teacher succumbed to excessive alcohol consumption in Achham district last night. The 37-year-old Padam Bhandari of Shera VDC-7 in the district, who had consumed a large quantity of alcohol, died in course of treatment at a local clinic. The teacher at the Bidya Prabodhani Higher Secondary School in the locality was taken ill after drinking excessive alcohol, according to the deceased's family.
