SAPTARI: Police on Thursday send as many as 600 vehicles to their respective destinations under security cordon. The vehicles were stranded along the East-West Highway due to the indefinite shutdown enforced in Tarai by the United Democratic Madhesi Front. Police escorted 279 vehicles from Lahan in Siraha up to Sunsari via Saptari and 321 vehicles from Koshi Barrage of Sunsari up to Siraha via Saptari, the District Police Office, Saptari stated.
