Vaccination drive gets momentum in Bajura

BAJURA: With the purpose of meeting the government decision to declare the country fully immunised in 2017, a campaign has kicked off in Bajura to make the district fully immunized. A District Health Office doctor, Mohan Nath, informed that the DHO has begun the campaign with a view of declaring the district fully immunised within two years of time. Earlier, Kuldevmandu, Kolti and Dogadi VDCs have already been declared fully immunised in the district. Dogadi Health Post in-charge, Dal Bahadur Rawat, informed that the VDC can be declared fully immunised only after the children below the age of one year get all vaccinations on time. They have administered vaccines on the children by visiting their houses also to meet the target, informed Sudan Gautam, Supervisor of District Health Office. Barabis, Kailashmandau, Aatichaur, Bahramtola, Gudukhati, Pandusen, Toli, Chhatara and Jagannath VDCs in the district are in the final stage to declare themselves fully immunised.
