RATNANAGAR: A rare one-horned rhinoceros has been found dead in Kumroj of of eastern Chitwan on Monday. According to the District Police Office, the rhino was electrocuted. The adult male pachyderm lost his life as he received electric shocks after touching electric fence installed in a local farm, Basanta Kunwar, the chief of DPO, Chitwan, said. Wildlife officials are carrying out postmortem of the ill-fated rhino that had survived several attacks of poachers in the past, according Spokesperson of the Chitwan National Park, Tikaram Paudel.
