DAMAULI: A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Tanahun district on Friday. Man Mohan Adhikari (32) of Byas Municipality-11 of the district was found dead yesterday. According to Inspector Bhojraj Pandey of the District Police Office, Tanahun, they are investigating into the case. Pandey informed that they have arrested some people for interrogation. Police said that Adhikari, who was found unconscious on a road near the Madi River Bridge yesterday, was rushed to the Damauli Hospital for treatment but the doctors declared him dead on arrival. During an investigation, police came to know that Adhikari had a scuffle with some persons while consuming alcohol at the tavern of Binju Adhikari. The tavern is near the Madi River Bridge. According to SP Rakesh Singh, they have nabbed six to seven persons for the interrogation. He further said that the truth behind the incident will be out soon. The body of Adhikari has been kept at the Damauli Hospital for autopsy.
