KATHMANDU: Newly elected Deputy Speaker Ganga Prasad Yadav took the oath of office and secrecy from Speaker Onsari Gharti and assumed office on Monday. Upon assuming the office, Yadav expressed gratitude to all the lawmakers for electing him to the post of Deputy Speaker unopposed and said he would play his role honestly. Yadav also said that the election of Onsari Gharti to the post of Speaker and his own election to the post of Deputy Speaker was good examples of inclusion in the Parliament.
