POKHARA: Kaski District Police Office (DPO) has launched a 'special' security plan in some areas of the district in order to curb criminal activities and road accidents during festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Chhath and Lhosar. Superintendent of Police Hari Bahadur Pal said that they launched the plan to provide security in areas such as Pokhara, Lekhnath and some areas of rural belt of the district among others. The DPO said that police in civvies would be mobilised in places, where banks, financial institutions are established and presences of the people is dense.
