Light aftershock recorded after 14 days, epicentre in Rasuwa

KATHMANDU: A light tremor was felt in Rasuwa district on Saturday. According to the National Seismological Centre, Lainchaur, the aftershock of the April 25 earthquake was of local magnitude 4.3 and was recorded at 9:28 am. The epicentre was close to Ramche of the district. It was the first significant aftershock that the NSC recorded after 14 days. The coordinates of the centre are 28.03°N, 85.23°E. The last aftershock was recorded at 11:46 pm on October 17, with its epicentre at Dolakha. Meanwhile, the number of aftershocks of April 25 of local magnitude 4.0 or above has reached 405, according to the NSC.
