LAMJUNG: The international Nepal Ultra Marathon has begun in Lamjung on Saturday. Action Asia and Himalayan Trails, organisers of the competition, have allowed only foreigners to take part in the Marathon. As many as 51 runners from 25 nations including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Philippines, Germany, India and Hong Kong are participating in the event. Ankit Rayamajhi of the Himalayan Trails said two routes of 20 kilometres and 40 kilometres have been set for the Marathon. 'Total 27 participants are running along the 20-kilometre route while 24 others are for the 40-kilometre route,' he added. Both routes begin in the district headquarters Beshishahar.
