KATHMANDU: Police on Monday arrested five persons on charge of child trafficking. Police said that Pema Tamang (23) of Sindhupalchok along with three others were nabbed from a bus (Ba 5 Kha 4055) at Nagdhunga Check Post of Chandragiri Municipality-3 while they were taking 16 children to Kakarbhitta without any official letter. Similarly, Chotaku Lama (29) of Daunne Pokhari-8, Kavre was also arrested with two children at Nagdhunga Check Post of Chandragiri Municipality-3 yesterday. Police informed that he was detained from a bus (Ba 3 Kha 2255). Police said that they are looking into both cases.
