RAUTAHAT: An unidentified gang shot at a man in Karkach Karmaiya village of Rautahat district on Tuesday night. Surendra Prasad Kalwar (34) of Karkach Karmaiya-6 was injured in the incident and rushed to the Birgunj-based Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital. Police Inspector Ram Prakash Chaudhary said his condition is out of danger now. He was hit by the bullet through a window while asleep in his room after the dinner, Rautahat District Police Office said. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the suspects.
