RUPANDEHI: The Area Administration Office, Butwal, collected more than Rs 20 million in revenue during the last seven months from issuing machine readable passports (MRPs). The office issued altogether 4,155 MRPs during the period and recommended 2,396 applications of MRPs for collecting from the Capital. Chief of the Office, Krishna Prasad Bhandari, said that the flow of passport recipients has increased compared to the past despite ongoing Tarai unrest. The Office also said that it collected nearly Rs 12 million in revenue during the first four months of the current fiscal year.
