England defeated Uganda by a huge 213 runs in its second league match of Under-19 Cricket World Cup in south-eastern Chittagong city on Tuesday.

Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka also won their respective matches on Tuesday.

Luke Wright smashed 70 as England scored 259-7 in 50 overs. Uganda was bowled out for a paltry 46 in 30.4 overs.

England bowlers Tim Bresnen and David Stiff each claimed four wickets. They each conceded seven runs. Bangladesh beat Scotland by 9 wickets in Narayanganj near the capital Dhaka.

Scotland was dismissed for 95 in 30.2 overs. Enamul Huq Jr took 4-21 and Shahadat Hossain 3-27.

Bangladesh cruised to victory, 96-1, in 12.2 overs. Nayeem Islam hit an unbeaten 49 with Nafis Iqbal making 39 not out.

Pakistan won by eight wickets against Ireland in south-western Khulna city. Pakistani spinner Mansoor Amjad claimed 4-28 as Pakistan bundled out Ireland on 142 in 47.5 overs.

Pakistan raced to victory, 146-2, in 25 overs.

Adnan Zaheer scored 64 not out and Captain Khalid Latif 50. In north-eastern Rajshahi, Sri Lanka beat Canada by 9 wickets. Canada, put in to bat first, was bowled out on 81 in 31.1 overs.

K. Kolasakara claimed 5-27. Sri Lanka made 84-1 in 16 overs.

On Wednesday Nepal take on South Africa in Chittagong.
