Birgunj, December 6 Tarai Madhes Democratic Party General Secretary Jitendra Sonal today said United Democratic Madhesi Front leaders left for New Delhi to garner the international community’s support for the ongoing Tarai agitation. Talking to mediapersons at Kalaiya of Bara, Sonal said the top UDMF leaders would meet Indian leaders to garner their support for the ongoing Tarai agitation. “Opinion between India’s ruling and opposition leaders has been divided on the current Tarai agitation. Thus, our leaders will try to clear the confusion and garner support”. Sonal said the UDMF team would leave for Europe after the top UDMF leaders get back to Nepal from New Delhi. He accused the government and ruling parties of trying to disseminate confusion about the ongoing Tarai agitation. He held that they would not end their stir until their demands were met. “The agitation will not come to a halt unless our 11-point demands are met,” added Sonal.
