KATHMANDU: The government, main opposition Nepali Congress and agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front are scheduled to resume the tripartite talks today. The ruling coalition and the Nepali Congress will hold a separate meeting prior to sitting for the talks with the UDMF scheduled for 1 pm. Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to meet another alliance of Madhes-based parties led by JP Gupta this morning, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat. The tripartite talks held yesterday had ended without making any headway against thorny issues and the UDMF's demands regarding redoing provincial boundaries, proportional inclusive representation and citizenship.
