Kavre, July 22:

Bal Bikas Boarding School at Panitanki of Kavre VDC-2 has been closed since the past four days because a strange illness has been reported among its students. A few students, it is reported, complained of hea-dache and then fainted. Fearing that the disease will spread, the school was closed. A staffer, Parvati Humagai, said that after a student Bishal Sigdel, fainted on Tuesday, five others complained of severe headche. One among them, Sajana Sigdel, was taken to a hospital at Dhulikhel. When her condition worsened, doctors advised a CT scan, but instead her parents took her home and are taking help of local shamans, Humagai said. She said Sajana’s condition has not improved.
