Aseatic Traders and Exporters maintained their lead on second day of the Corporate Bowling Tournament with a total of 3,845 pinfalls. Skipper Sanjay Shrestha rolled down 208 pinfalls as the first-day leaders added 1854 pinfalls. They had 1991 points on the first day. The six-day tournament has been organised by Fun World Nepal Recreation Centre to mark the 59th birthday of King Gyanendra. Honey Enterprises added 1976 pinfalls and climbed two spots up to second with a total of 3843 pinfalls. Attsh remained third adding 1906, to make it 3794 pinfalls after six games. Speedway Cargo, who were at the second spot on the first day, fell down to the fourth spot with a total of 3784 pinfalls. They added 1811 pinfalls today.
At the fifth position was Paradise Tours and Travels. With Nepal No 2 Nilendra Mali as the skipper, Paradise had 1899 pinfalls for a total of 3682. So far, Mali has the highest individual break of 244 pinfalls and also holds the total record of 620 pinfalls. Nepal Recreation Centre is in the sixth spot with an overall 3579 pinfalls. Others in the pack were Casino Nepal (3126);
Casino Tara (3108); Casino Anna (2793); Casino Royal (2736); Nepal Samacharpatra
(2677); Digitek International (2619); and Casino Everest (2196). The top four teams will advance to semi-finals, slated for July 29.
