SYDNEY: Brisbane Roar moved into first place on goal difference in the A-League on Saturday with a 2-1 home win over the Perth Glory. Jamie Maclaren put the Roar ahead in the 52nd minute and Henrique made it 2-0 nine minutes later. Hagi Gligor closed the lead to one goal with 20 minutes remaining, but Brisbane held on for the win. The Roar and Western Sydney are level on 27 points each, but Brisbane have a superior goals-scored total.
