GAUSHALA: At least three persons died due to excessive cold within a week at Halkhori VDC of Mahottari district. The deceased has been identified as Gafur Ansari (50) Ram Nandan Yadav (60) and Upendra Mandal (35)  of the same VDC. The daily life of Tarai people has been hit hard by the cold wave marked by thick fog.
