KATHMANDU: Nepal Police's Metropolitan Police Crime Division has arrested two men on charge of their involvement in illegal hundi business. In a statement, the MPCD said it arrested 57-year-old Satyanarayan Agrawal, a permanent resident of Mandhubani of Indian state of Bihar and currently residing in Naradevi of Kathmandu, in possession of Rs 11,25,000 million and 18-year-old Saroj Parajuli of Kavre in possession of Rs 13,70,500. Likewise, the MPCD said they arrested 45-year-old Karsang Chheki Tamang of Dhunche, Rasuwa district, on charge of illegally collecting and trading on foreign currencies. Police seized a stash of foreign currencies -- Hong Kong Dollar 1910, Pound Sterling 100, Chinese Yuan 198, and USD 5 besides Rs 20,000 from her possession. The three were handed over to the Revenue Office, Harihar Bhawan for legal action.
