KANCHANPUR: Siberian birds have been spotted in the wetlands of the Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve after the plunge of temperature in the North Pole in the recent days. To escape the chilling cold in Siberia and other parts of the North Pole, the migratory birds of different species have started to arrive in the area. Chief Conservation Officer of the Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve, Bed Kumar Dhakal, informed that the activities of the Siberian birds have increased in Ranital, Salgaudhital, Kalichichtal and Raratal areas. Every year, the birds from Siberia and other belts of the North Pole arrive here with the onset of the winter and again head to their original habitats with the end of the cold season.
