President General Pervez Musharraf has vowed to arrest leaders of ban-ned extremist groups and expel foreign students from madrasas or Pakistan’s Islamic schools. He also believes he is in a stronger position to campaign against religious militants than during a limited crackdown in 2002. “I’m in a totally different environment,” Musharraf said yesterday.
