KATHMANDU: A fire that broke out in a shed destroyed properties and livestock in Yatu Mahadev of Nagarkot Municipality-7 in Bhaktapur district on Saturday. Police said the two-storey shed belonged to Ghanshyam Timilsina. The fire gutted property worth around Rs 444,000 and also killed three cows, two buffaloes and a goat tied inside. Locals and police jointly put off the flames, police said. An Investigation into the case is underway, police added.
