JHAPA: Wild elephants have destroyed houses after they entered the human settlement in Kumarkhod VDC of Jhapa on Wednesday night. A wild tusker destroyed houses belonging to Kandu Rajbanshi and Keshab Khadka of the VDC. No human causality was reported, police said. Meanwhile, Nepal Police, APF, a team of Forest Office and locals chased the wild animal to the forest, said police. Similarly, a wild elephant also destroyed a house belonging to Tej Bahadur Sunuwar at Birtamod, Jhapa on Wednesday night.
