KATHMANDU: Mohan Singh Rathore of CPN-UML has been elected Chairman of Good Governance and Monitoring Committee of the Legislature Parliament on Sunday. A meeting of the House panel held in Singhdurbar elected him unopposed, according to the panel’s secretary Jivraj Budhathoki. Rathore was elected as parliament member from Kailali-2. The position had been lying vacant after its chairman Sherdhan Rai was appointed as Minister for Information and Communications on November 5.
