WELLINGTON: Pakistan’s one-day cricket captain Azhar Ali says he has resolved his issues with convicted spot fixer Mohammad Amir which caused him to threaten to resign if Amir was named in the Pakistan team. Ali refused to train with Amir and tendered his resignation when the 23-year-old was hastily recalled to the Pakistan squad when his five-year ban from international cricket elapsed late last year. He will now lead a Pakistan squad including Amir into a three-match one-day series against New Zealand starting Monday and refused to say why his position has changed. Ali said “this is a cricket board domain, not my domain. We have moved on, we are united. Whatever my stance was, my job is to lead and keep harmony in the dressing room.”
