KATHMANDU: The Association of Nepalis in Minnesota (ANMN) on Monday distributed blankets to locals in Langtang village of Rasuwa, which was destroyed and buried beneath a landslide after the April 25 earthquake last year. The ANMN is a United States-based non-profit organisation, which 'builds and promotes Nepali culture and community in Minnesota and helps Nepal in time of need.' The organisation had started “#1000 blankets” project as part of winter relief work in Nepal to keep people warm in earthquake affected areas. Majority of the areas in Langtang village, near Rasuwa district, was destroyed after the April 25 earthquake as almost all of the areas were buried beneath a landslide.
