Kathmandu, January 26 Top leaders of agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front today said the front would review its border-centric agitation. Addressing a function here today, Chairman of Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party Mahendra Raya Yadav said the ongoing agitation should be reviewed and its form should be changed because normal life had been hit hard due to the ongoing obstructions at border points. However, speaking at the same function, Tarai Madhes Democratic Party General Secretary Jitendra Sonal, said the first amendment to the constitution had failed to address the demands of the agitating parties. He also said that the front was likely to review the form of its agitation from February 1 after holding a meeting in the next few days. Claiming that the ongoing agitation was non-violent, Yadav, however, said the agitation should be intensified and extended to the hills and mountains. He said such an agitation would help consolidate national unity. Yadav, however, ruled out possibility of UDMF forming alliance with other forces.
