Micromax launches Canvas Pulse 4G E451 in the Nepali market

KATHMANDU: Micromax launched its latest offering— Canvas Pulse 4G E451 in the local market on January 29 at the Subisu CAN Info Tech 2016 event. “We chose to launch our new product at the CAN Info Tech event as it is one of the biggest information communication technology fairs which will observe a huge footfall,” said Sumit Sharma, Marketing Manager at Pashupati Trade Link, authorised distributor of Micromax mobiles. The Micromax Canvas Pulse 4G runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and also comes with dual-SIM standby support. It has 5-inch HD IPS screen. According to Sharma, due to the 4G connectivity on Canvas Pulse 4G, one can zip through large downloads and stream videos with great ease. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6753) processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports a 13MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5MP front-facing camera also on board. On the connectivity front, the Canvas Pulse 4G offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, FM, and Bluetooth options. “As the Canvas Pulse 4G comes with a powerful 2100mAh battery, you don’t need to stay stuck to your charger anymore,” Sharma mentioned. The Pulse 4G packs sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It comes with pre-loaded apps such as: Amazon Kindle, Amazon Shop, Clean Master, Quikr, Snapdeal, Scandid and Swift Key. The phone is priced at Rs 18,370. “Slowly and steadily immerging as a brand to look out for, Micromax is famous for bringing out budget-friendly and state-of-the-art phones,” Sharma stated adding that the company has a huge expectation from the new model.
