KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 700,000 was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at the furniture factory of Rupesh Rai in Shantibasti, Tokha Municipality-12 on Wednesday. Police said that the reason behind the fire was electric short circuit. The fire was doused with the help of police personnel and locals, police informed. Police said that they are looking into the case.
