JHAPA: Bhutanese refugee leader Teknath Rijal on Tuesday asked the Prime  Minister KP Sharma Oli to raise the problem of Bhutanese refugees in his  upcoming visit to India. Rijal held that repatriation of  refugees was  not possible without India’s initiative. Talking to mediapersons in  Damak of Jhapa, Rijal, who is also Chairman of  People’s Forum for Human Rights, asked the stakeholders to stop  splitting family members through third country resettlement. Stating  that Bhutanese citizens had been sent to different countries without  consultation with Bhutan, Rijal accused the Nepal government of not  being serious about the problem of Bhutanese refugees. He said they  would give continuity to the agitation seeking repatriation of refugees.
