HETAUDA: Makawanpur police arrested Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist district secretary Bir Bahadur Ghalan “Jwala” on Tuesday. Makawanpur SP Mira Chaudhary said police had arrested Ghalan from Manhari Bazaar for his alleged involvement in stealing LPG cylinders and petroleum two months ago. Inspector Surakshya KC said an FIR was registered at the district police office against seven people, including Ghalan for their involvement in the incident. Police arrested the duo immediately after the incident.
