BIRATNAGAR: Hosts Morang Football Club advanced to the quarter-finals of the Birat Gold Cup Football Tournament with a 3-0 victory over Rupandehi-XI on Friday. In the match played at the Sahid Rangashala in Biratnagar, skipper Deepak Rai, Bijay Dhimal and Rupesh KC scored a goal apiece for the hosts team. Dhimal was adjudged man-of-the-match. On Saturday, Jhapa-XI will take on George Telegraph in the first quarter-finals.
