GAIGHAT: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has sent a letter to District Education Office, Udayapur, asking the latter to collect fine of Rs 19,900,000 from 398 teachers who failed to submit their property details at the office. Bhupendra Man Koirala, information officer at the DEO, said the CIAA sent the letter after teachers of primary, lower secondary and secondary levels did not submit their property details on time. The CIAA, through the ministry of education, has directed the DEO to collect Rs 5,000 each from the teacher as fine.
