KATHMANDU: Defending champion Bishal Khadka advanced to the second round of the Annapurna Corporate Badminton Tournament in Executive singles category here on Wednesday. Two-time winner Khadka defeated Bikram Maharjan 21-6, 21-9. In other matches played at the National Sports Council covered hall, Hari Gotame, Sunil Shrestha, Ram Kumar Baniya, Umesh KC, Raju Prasad Gupta, Jay Prasad Dahal, Jeevan Prakash Limbu, Bijendra Lal Shrestha, Suraj Lohani, Bibek GC, Abhishek Bose, Gyalzen Sherpa, Deepak Khatri and Sudesh Paudel won their first-round matches. Around 350 players are competing in six categories.
