Pickpocket nabbed from Bouddha

KATHMANDU: Police said they have arrested a youth and seized Rs 71,500 from him while fleeing the scene after pickpocketing a man on a passenger bus, in Bouddha of Kathmandu, on Thursday. The arrested has been identified as Suresh Tamang (30) of Melamchi Municipality -9, Sindhupalchok district, currently residing in Jorpati. However, the other suspect Sunil Lama (22) of Kavre is at large, added police. Police said the incident occurred while Kapchung Sherpa (51) of Olangchungola-5 of Taplejung district was travelling on a bus from New Bus Park to Bouddha in the capital. The duo - Tamang and Lama - pickpocketed him and fled the scene, police added. In the search, police were able to nab only one. Further investigation is underway.
