63 withdraw candidacies in NC convention

KATHMANDU: As many as 63 persons have withdrawn their candidacies in the Nepali Congress (NC) 13th general convention, the Election Committee informed. As many as 375 persons had filed their candidacies for 64 posts of the Central Working Committee (CWC) on Friday. According to the Election Committee Coordinator Radheshyam Adhikari, 365 persons had filed their candidacies for 61 CWC members and 10 leaders had filed candidacies for three top positions president, general secretary and treasurer.
